Thank you!
We'd like to sincerely thank our fellow Milton residents for their overwhelming support in voting NO on Question 4, defeating the CPA tax by a wide margin.
We were a very small, bipartisan group of Milton homeowners who initially contemplated taking on a professionally backed campaign that had a five month head start with the same running in several Massachusetts towns simultaneously. In planning Preservation Without Taxation we believed our goals would represent the majority but it was your tremendous response to our announcement that energized and sustained our campaign. You provided the confidence in knowing informed voters would cast informed votes. Your resounding endorsement with each of your votes rejecting the CPA tax is deeply appreciated.
We would also like to express our heartfelt appreciation to the countless residents who so vigorously supported Preservation Without Taxation in giving whatever they could to champion our campaign. The gifts of your time, talents and donations made our efforts possible but you each played an essential role with lawn signs, bumper stickers, website visits, emails and phone calls. We could not have succeeded in defeating the CPA tax without each and every one of you.
Thank you all.
